ABC THE KEY

ABC The Key is an exciting, animated, tutorial video program that teaches phonetic
reading, writing, spelling and pronunciation of the English language.
The program is available on DVD.

How is ABC The KEY different from other reading programs?
• The Program
THIS PROGRAM REQUIRES VIRTUALLY NO PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT. Miss Jones, the instructor, personally tutors the student. Parents do not have to learn to be reading teachers.

• The Method
The method incorporates a multi-sensory approach that locks the concepts into the brain. Students see the letters, hear the sounds, say the sounds, and write the letters all at the same time.

• Spelling Secrets
Many of the spelling rules are set to music making them very easy to learn.

• Skiddles
Students will have their own "Skiddles" plush puppy to teach as Miss Jones teaches Skiddles. The students will learn as they teach!

• Miss Jones
The most unique feature of ABC The Key is Miss Jones. Her experience, enthusiasm, and motivational manner assures that her students will learn to read, write, and spell.

• Versatile
This program is suitable for students ages 4-10 years old. The program starts with basic instructions and progresses to more advanced concepts, making it suitable for older students.

TESTIMONIAL

"My 9 year old son was adopted from Russia .  He has only been home with us for 6 months.  He received no real formal schooling in Russia .  He was tested before entering a private Christian Academy here in the U.S. and scored very low.  He cannot read or write, but is able to speak English at a moderate level.  We started using the ABC The Key program and within 2 days he read his first three words.  I was absolutely amazed!  Our son was equally amazed and VERY proud of his accomplishment.  He grinned from ear to ear and giggled to himself.  What a great confidence booster!  I have worried that his low self confidence from his inability to read was holding him back even more at school.  It was a very proud moment for our family.  In addition, our son has a very difficult time concentrating and remaining focused, he is an INCREDIBLY active child.  ABC The Key provides enough visual stimulation and interaction that he is able to remain focused.  I am excited about the possibilities that ABC The Key is opening for my child!"

Our 10 yr. old daughter who is also adopted from Russia has been with us for 2 years.  She speaks English fluently but struggles with spelling and comprehension. While the ESL classes she attended just a few weeks after she came home to the U.S. helped, I never felt like she completely grasped the language. She has been using the ABC The Key program with our son as a “helper” and has already grasped new insight of the phonetic sounds of letters.  She said “Mom, I didn't know the letter A had 4 sounds!”  I believe the program will benefit her greatly and I fully expect her grades to drastically improve with time.  I am very impressed with the material and I am thrilled to see what this is doing for my children, and we've only used the program twice!”
