Hillsong NYC Pastor Carl Lentz has once again stirred up controversy, this time by publicly identifying with the Marxist-inspired 'Black Lives Matter' movement, and not saying 'all lives matter'.
In a Facebook post made within the past several days, Lentz states:
"At THIS church, we are not saying 'all lives matter' right now because this is a logical assumption that most reasonable people agree with. All lives are not at risk right now. We ARE saying BLACK LIVES MATTER. Because, right now, black lives apparently are worth LESS on our streets. It's "our fight" not "their fight." - Carl Lentz
One has to question the validity of a church and it's pastor endorsing an anti-American and racially divisive group such as Black Lives Matter.
THE COMMUNIST ROOTS OF BLACK LIVES MATTER
According to Accuracy in Media, Black Lives Matter launched in 2013 with a Twitter hashtag, #BlackLivesMatter, after neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman was acquitted in the Trayvon Martin killing. Radical Left activists Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors and Opal Tometi claim credit for the slogan and hashtag. Following the Michael Brown shooting in August 2014, Dream Defenders, an organization led by Working Families Party (ACORN) activist and Occupy Wall Street anarchist Nelini Stamp, popularized the phrase “Hands Up–Don’t Shoot!” which has since become BLM’s widely recognized slogan.
Garza, Cullors and Tometi all work for front groups of the Freedom Road Socialist Organization (FRSO), one of the four largest radical Left organizations in the country. The others are the Communist Party USA (CPUSA), Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), and the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism (CCDS). Nelini Stamp’s ACORN—now rebranded under a variety of different names—works with all four organizations, and Dream Defenders is backed by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), the ACLU, the Southern Poverty Law Center and others.
HILLSONG DANCING WITH CONTROVERSY
It should be perfect material for the myriad of satire websites that abound online. The story of New York’s Hillsong Church having a performance during a Christian women’s conference of the iconic Times’ Square Dancing Naked Cowboy drew reactions from “That has to be fake”, or “The rumor mill is running”.
Not only is the story itself absolutely true, but the entire story revealed even more about the state of the Babylonian church in America.
